Main Features and Benefits

The iconic French press coffee maker, which enhances the flavor and aroma of your infusion.

The container is made of SAN plastic, shatterproof, non-BPA, scratch-resistant, non-deformable by heat and resistant to temperature changes.

The frame protects the container, while the plastic lid and handle allow for safe and comfortable handling.

The stainless steel plunger prevents the ground beans from coming out of the container while the coffee is being served.

More environmentally friendly than many other methods used to brew coffee – it eliminates the need to use paper filters or plastic capsules.

Easy to use and easy to clean.

How it works

Using the French press system is the simplest way to prepare rich and tasty coffee.

Put the CAFFETTIERA down on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger up and out of the container.

Add one rounded teaspoon, or one Bodum scoop, of coarsely ground coffee, to each cup/118 ml of water.

Pour hot water into the container (about 92-96 oC), leaving at least a 2.5 cm/1 inch margin on top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.

Place the plunger unit over the container and screw the lid on so that the spout is closed to retain heat.

Allow to infuse for four minutes, then lower the plunger slowly.

Unscrew the lid to open the spout and pour your delicious cup of coffee.

Use and Care

Before first use, wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. All parts are dishwasher safe.
